Among other achievements, Rossignol mentioned it has obtained the ISO 14001 certification (specifies the actual requirements for an environmental management system) at its Skis Rossignol S.A. site (Saint Etienne de Crossey) and is in the commencement of ISO 14001 certification analyses at Skis Dynastar S.A. and . Rossignol Lange S.p.A. sites.

ISO 14001 certification is applicable to any organization that wishes to:
·implement, maintain and improve an environmental management system
·assure itself of its conformance with its own stated environmental policy (those policy commitments of course must be made)
·demonstrate conformance
·ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations
·seek certification of its environmental management system by an external third party organization
·make a self-determination of conformance

DOPE STATE CLASSICS (DSC) is an apparel company that embrace “capitalism with a conscience”. Backed by Canada’s premier rap star Wes “Maestro” Williams, DSC Apparel makes clothes for what they call extreme urban markets – where rappers and snowboarders and skateboarders intersect.

D.O.P.E. stands for Don’t Oppress People and the Environment…pretty cool hey? Even more cool, D.O.P.E. CARES, a division of DSC, addresses issues of oppression whether it be oppression of individuals or oppression of the environment. Among other achievement, DOPE CARES participated to ActionONE by providing hoddies for the fundraiser silent auction and handed out prepaid phone cards to troubled youth during the holiday season of 2002 at the Covenant House - a shelter in Toronto.
