The goal is to raise awareness on global warming and sustainable energy topics to inspire participants to take actions to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by providing an insight on the existing solutions available.
Come learn about energy choices that can make a difference. The Energy Film Festival will be a great way to broaden your horizons and give better perspective to our current energy situation while facing the impact of global warming. The more people who are aware of global warming, and consequently taking action in their daily lives, the sooner we can reach the critical mass required to turn things around. So come on out, and bring your friends, family, neighbours, co-workers - whomever you can get your hands on. Watch some intriguing films, learn something new and then get out there and make your choices count.
The Master of Ceremony, Jessica Hare, will introduce the documentaries and lead the Q&A session afterwards to raise essential questions about how much energy we use, how we produce it and how much it is costing us beyond the monthly utility bills. Breaks in between screenings, will allow time for mingling, discussions and learning opportunities.
